D. D. Crew is a fighting game featuring four characters: ‘Buster’, ‘King’, ‘FF’, and ‘Gung Ho’, who can be shifted horizontally. Enemies attack from all directions, including entrance doors and other background features. Players must defeat all enemies on the screen before they can progress.
Players can pick up weapons, including knives and grenades, as well as other items such as extra lives and health points. Players can also throw enemies onto the ground or at other enemies.
A unique feature of DD Crew is a counter that informs players how many enemies they have defeated. Additionally, players can perform dash attacks by pressing the joystick left or right twice while pressing the attack button.
