The game Blade Force for the 3DO Interactive Multiplayer is a 3D game with quite expansive locations. The game is set in 2110, in a future where the new city of Meggagrid has been built on the site of the old city of Los Angeles. The area has become so filled with various criminals and monsters that a simple police force cannot handle them. Then, a hero in a special suit with a Helipak Flight Suit comes to save the day, not associated with Carlson. Various missions will be entrusted to us by the Professor. We won’t have to deal with petty criminals, as the police will handle them, but we will fight against a crime syndicate known as The Pitt Family to eliminate gang leaders. This includes dealing with descendants of Gorgon’s jellyfish, an arsonist, a mutant surgeon, a mistress with an alligator, etc.

The game features a total of 7 missions, each divided into 4 regions, culminating in a battle with a Boss. The game has a quite large arsenal of weapons and upgrades for the suit, all of which will help us progress through the game. Although the management may seem bothersome at first, you get used to it over time. There is a training level that comments on main objects. The transition through each level takes about an hour. All six levels are divided into four different colored regions. At the end of every fourth region, you face an enemy boss, which is better to battle at the last location, gaining experience and weakening the enemy to the maximum degree.

Boxes containing vital energy, fuel, protection, and weapons are hidden not only in obvious places but also beneath enemy walls and gun turrets.

**Controls:**
– L, B – left and right helicopter
– A – fire
– B – move helicopter forward
– C – use special weapons
– PAUSE – switch between “game” and “pause” modes. In “pause” mode, you can call up the map (A) or options – main menu (B), return to the game (PAUSE), or complete it (X).
– X – choose special weapons

The main menu (“MAIN OPTIONS”) includes options:
– “SELECT CONTROL DEVICE” – where you can redefine joystick control buttons
– “SELECT INTERFACE” – where you can determine the corner of the “RADAR” panel (the displayed image)
– “STATUS” – stock information, such as fuel and health
– “SFX – MUSIC BALANCE” – choose the music and technical noise ratio of your flight
– “VIEW HIGH SCORES” – a display of the winners’ names
– “START NEW GAME” – start a new game. You will need to enter your name on the next screen. After that, the map and symbols will be displayed: red boxes enhance your firepower, greens enhance weapons – simplifying attacks. Red cross-marked boxes add health (red status bar), boxes marked “FUEL” contain fuel (blue status bar), and dark yellow-lit boxes contain ammunition. To “collect” the box, you just need to bump into it.
– “LOAD SAVED GAME” – load a previously saved game
– “DELETE SAVED GAME” – delete the previously saved game

**Tips:**
At the end of every fourth region, expect an enemy boss that is better to face at the last turn, gaining experience and weakening the enemy to the maximum degree. Boxes containing vital energy, fuel, protection, and weapons are hidden not only in obvious places but also beneath enemy walls and gun turrets.
