The girls of Ryōran Young Women’s School have returned for their first and only official release on the SEGA Saturn. This time, among the new competitors in the inter-school tournament are Asuka’s mentor Tetsuko and the school’s principal as an unlockable extra! Asuka 120% Limited does not add any new systems to the series; instead, it focuses on altering and fine-tuning moves to better balance the fighters. The character sprites are larger compared to the previous PlayStation entry, but like most SEGA Saturn games, true transparency has been removed. The story mode features standard linear fighting with text dialogue to relate between matches. The versus mode includes Player vs CPU, Player vs Player, and exhibition CPU vs CPU options. The final game mode is a survival mode where the player fights each character in turn, and health is restored based on their scores during the fights.
